This wouldn't happen if the hall was in a real city.

"The Scarlet A doesn't implicate Hester," Goodman Mortimer said. "Villagers will have to make their own decision. We would never suggest how they should judge things."

Yeah, robin, but Hester didn't have Nieporent as a lawyer. She didn't have that extra edge.

At this point, me too. The decision's been made, the ball's going in, and it is what it is. Every argument that can be made about it on all sides has has already been gone over many times over.

Andy and tfbg9 agreeing. Bonds really brings people together.

I don't know art, but I know what I like.

Can't disagree there. I just thought it would be cute to use "*" as the header.

That'd make a good poll. Which topic has been the most "talked and linked to death" at BTF? Call it the "Roidey" since I think "steroids" is too broad and would win too easily:

Jim Rice and the HoF
Derek Jeter's defense
Medis Bias and Barry Bonds
Billy Beane's performance as A's GM
The declining number of African-Americans in MLB
Accusations of racism in MLB and the media
The stupidity of mainstream columnists and HoF Voters
kevin's personality as a poster
Tony LaRussa's and Dusty Baker's flaws as human beings and managers
The Red Sox prospects
The Yankees Prospects
The Johan Santana trade negotiations and actual trade
Alex Rodriguez's contract negotiations
Alex Rodriguez's personality
The relative obnoxiousness of some Red Sox fans and Yankee fans
Roger Clemens and Brian McNamee

I know I have posted a lot about almost all of these...

I approve of this message.

Bonds said in September that he would boycott the Hall if it displays the marked ball. Idelson said he has attempted to contact Bonds about the exhibit, according to the San Jose Mercury News.

At least this gives him an out for taking a plea on the perjury.

"I decided to take some jail time so I could boycott the Hall of Fame"

Serious question BL. Do you actually think he'll plead. Or that he'll lose if it goes to trial.

Based on what I've currently seen, I do not think he will plead and I do not think he will be found guilty.

If there is other evidence of knowingly use of steroids, I would change my mind.

Tommy Lasorda is a bad person who is dumber than ten dogs because of how he treated his dying gay son.

I wonder if Clemens voted.

Operation Iraqi Freedom is the biggest military disaster in the history of mankind.

Every argument that can be made about it on all sides has has already been gone over many times over.

As if that's ever stopped us before.

Especially in the 4,594,512,068,219 Barry Bonds/Steroids threads.

Marc Ecko was a guest judge on Iron Chef America recently. The secret ingredient was ham.
