It's going to be a very uneventful Christmakwanzaaka in the McNamee household this year.
Given that Pettitte is the one who seems most vocally supportive about McNamee's truth-telling, this seems to suggest that McNamee wants no parts of any sort of gifts, whether from Clemens (obviously evil) or Pettitte (greatest American hero)... which makes the whole "he wants no paer of any gifts from a man who calls him a liar" seem to be a bit of an interpretation by the writer, though no doubt others see it otherwise. I mean, he's selling all sorts of things -- he's not taking a stand against Clemens, he's just trying to make money -- and nothing's wrong with that -- so why the whole implied moral stand about Clemens's gifts? (Never mind, don't answer that).
Then shouldn't he be giving the stuff away?
