Thanks to Craig in MN, we can locate one another. Feel free to add a generic location - no need to put your actual address in there - but the city can help us get together better. For instance, for me, I put in my BTF name, my city and a link to my BTF wiki page. I can already feel the love.

Log in, using the account "btf". The password is listed a couple of entries up.
But if that's too hard, it's the most common password used around these parts - bselig.
P.S. I missed with the first marker.
Admin linky
We all know SJ's real name anyhow.
good point, Bernal.
God bless New Rochelle, NY.
Primary home is Ohio, Assigned to a ship out of Pascagoula. My reserve Unit is out of Mobile.
Definitely. You can get down to street level, so it's not hard to be pretty damn accurate with your little markers.
Oh and there are no PFCs in the Air Force. Duh.
Surprise, surprise, surprise!
Oh, I know, Bernal, but I wanted to bring out that guy from the other branch of the military, anyway. :-)
By the way, I give this three days before someone gets excited and changes the admin password.
Follow the link in post #11 of this thread
1. ZOOM IN before placing your icon.
2. Be patient....don't press the 'Place' button twice.
3. Don't 'Reload' (resend POSTDATA) the map immediately after you place your icon.
Reloading or pressing 'Place' twice will work like a double-post, so there will be two of you on the map.
Personally, I don't mind the some fictional posts, but I think the dozen fake-wads go a bit too far.
I'd like the guestmap to be utilitarian. If you want to make an ass of yorself, start your own asshat map.
have fun
The alien head marker was a nice touch.
Best Regards
John
Aren't most of the names on the first map going to be fake anyway?
The Admiral Ackbar one in Nevada should stay. After all, he's been a Primate longer than most.
The alien head marker was a nice touch.
Is that in Area 51? If so, kudos to the author.
I've taken them down (they weren't meant to be permanent, I just started doing them once I learned that they could be taken down again). I was just killing some time before the Jays get their heads handed to them again.
The fake map has some possibilites ;-).
Best Regards
John
While I agree with you, I also think the same thing of "FILP" posts.
Same here. Except I live in a townhouse, so you might end up knocking on my neighbor's door. Mine is the one with the bike and barbecue on the front patio.
in fact all 3 of my markers have that flag on it.
virtualerth.msn.com can get you down to house level anywhere.
Virtual Earth
Well I dropped a few in Europe, Greenland, and Antarctica too.
I also had him drop off Katy near the North Pole.
Best Regards
John
I agree, though Fletcher Christian should still say on Pitcairn Islamd.
It would be a big help to my internet stalking scheme if you could draw those on the map.
Thanks
Will his marker be bigger than ours?
I don't know, but he should definitely mark his burnt-down apartment and his rest-stop parking spot. They are central to BTF lore.
If he didn't wash his hands I'm guessing the target keeps moving.
Batista hasn't blown it yet.
Best Regards
John
Yeah, but it uses old maps, so my house hasn't yet been built, according to MSN.
I only freaked out because the thread was ABOUT ME ####### MY BOSS, a known googler.
Nope, I just live near there. Near the U, too. All the faculty/staff that live near there keep the neighborhood quality up, which is nice. The spot I picked is actually a dog park that I take my dog to sometimes.
Mrs in MN was born in Riverside Hospital, too. She thinks she's going to die there too. Or at least that's what she tells me whenever she has to go there for any medical reason.
I think Geoff is the god Poseidon.
Having met Geoff, I'm very amused by the image of him holding a big trident and starting big storms.
Is he on Pimp My Ride?
Whatever.
:-)
I grow old ... I grow old ...
I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.
Shall I part my hair behind? Do I dare to eat a peach?
I shall wear white flannel trousers, and walk upon the beach.
I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each.
It's at Skywalker Ranch in California, not Nevada.
