What, he's your nephew or something?

Carlos the Jackal(s), I like that!

For those who don't know, Carlos is a Primate under the ChadBradfordWannabe handle. Or at least it used to be something like that.

His talent? Handsomeness.

I miss the authors' pictures on this site. Chris Dial wearing a letterman's Mets jacket. Eric Enders in a pic so blurry that I'd have trouble IDing him in real life. The stern visage of Voros McCracken. The flannel of Gary Santerre. All of them gone. Except in my memories.

He's also an intrepid member of THT. He's our token virile staff member (although he's not just a pretty face, the man is pretty good with the keyboard).

One day though he'll hang up the glove and spikes and we'll fit him with a pocket protector, thick black framed glasses held together by white tape and a really neato short-sleeved white shirt. Instead of stirrup socks and cleats it'll be argyle socks and Oxfords with the same amount of hosiery showing in both cases.

He will turn to the dork side.

Best Regards

John

Provide him with a World of Warcraft account. That should speed things up.

Author's photos will return during the off-season. Hopefully, we'll also be able to entice some Primates to include photos on the site as well.

I suspect things won't be pretty.

Giants fans have really surprised me. I didn't realize how loyal they are. Of course, I have written nothing but favorable things about their players so far.

Oh, trust us. We'll still be loyal. Especially if you can work for the Giants and fix our organizational philosophies and clear out our crappy farm system. There are plenty of players in the minors and majors that we would be happy to have you trash.

Put on a speedo, strike a pose, and link to where you've posted the resulting picture.
