Reinsdorf on the Diamond...the latest.
In an interview with the Daily Southtown on Saturday, Reinsdorf said he was not content with one World Series championship and expected the team to have a $100 million payroll once again in an effort to become a contender next season.
“We’re hurting more than our fans are hurting,” Reinsdorf said before an 8-7 victory against the Minnesota Twins at U.S. Cellular Field. “We’ll do everything in our power to make sure next year is much better.”
