Dayton Daily News: Krivsky makes no deadline-day deals (RR)

Reds left fielder Adam Dunn, the subject of trade rumors, said he wasn’t concerned at all about the trading deadline.

“Yeah, I’m happy I’m here,” Dunn said. “But ask me on Sept. 1.”

Dunn, who entering Tuesday led the Reds with 27 home runs to go with 67 RBIs and a .260 batting average, has been offered as trade bait by talk shows and print media, if not the Reds.

“It bothers my mom more than me,” Dunn said. “My family hates the Brennamans (broadcasters Marty and Thom) and Jeff Brantley. If George Grande and Chris Welsh aren’t doing the television games, they won’t watch. That’s sad.”

Even though he wasn’t traded Tuesday, Dunn threw out a word of caution. “I’ve heard a lot of things happen in August,” he said.

Dunn doesn’t exactly come across as dying to stay a Red.

That's awesome that he said that about Thom, Marty and Jeff. Cause it is obvious they hate him.

I am pretty sure everything Brantley says is the announcing equivalent to GIPD. And Marty's 100 run, 100 RBI, 40 HR seasons are behind him. And Thom is like the Juan Castro of announcers.

I always thought Thom was the Dale Berra of announcers.
