ESPN: Wojciechowski: Right eyes can see all in baseball

Call him Scout X.

Big league lifer. One of the best in the business. Has forgotten more about baseball than you and I will ever know.

...Now if you’re asking me my favorite guy to watch, it’s the Kung-Fu Panda—Pablo Sandoval of the Giants. Oh, is he funny. But he can rake. He can hit. He’s so fat and he’s so unorthodox. But he gets the barrel of the bat to the ball. You cannot teach somebody to hit like that.

They list him at 5-11, 235, but it was more like 270 last season. And still he hit .330 and 25 [home runs] and 90 [RBIs]—in his first full year in the big leagues and in that ballpark [AT&T Park].

I was wondering when this article would be linked. Really deserves the full read, and if someone could tell me if he's being sarcastic or not, I would love to know.

Same eight teams make the playoffs? Maybe not.

That's what the scout predicts? There's no way in hell that happens.

But it's just that Cain pitches with such ease. He won 14 games last year with a 2.89 ERA. Lincecum won 15 with a 2.48. See what I'm saying?

Do you? DO YOU!?

My favorite pitcher in the National League is Arizona's Dan Haren. Love Dan Haren. He's a pitcher.

This guy DOES know his stuff!

Wow, this article is a pile of ####. Walk into a bar and ask any casual baseball fan to ramble about players and teams for 5 minutes, you'll get the exact same thing, verbatim.

A-Rod is a phony. Sandoval is fat. Zambrano is a head case. Lincecum is small. Pujols and Mauer are great players. Groundbreaking stuff!

King Hippo shot in the head. Seriously, with all the great young pitching in the game, (King Felix, Kershaw, Verlander, Greinke, Lester, etc.) Who the #### cares about a reliever with a 2 cent head?

I like how he saw Strasburg give up 10 ER in an inning when the most he gave up was 8 runs 7 earned....and dominated the rest of the games.

Rick Porcello is 21 years old.

And apparently that's everything he has to say about him.

And other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how did you like the play?

This kind of reads like one of those Larry King Onion articles

He may also have forgotten his name, to check his fly before leaving the men's room, the location of his car. . .
