(Lyon's agent DID request a multi year deal for Lyon though)
If they did end up trading Valverde, it would probably force them to use Scherzer out of the pen in 2008, and possibly end his days as a starting pitcher prospect for this team.
Man, life would have been so much easier if RJ could just be counted on for 180 innings. Damn you Levski. ;)
