For rhyme, in a fit of conniption
He instructed the use
Of fit endings with juice
Not accepting that sometimes the especially gifted poet may, as he will, stretch the boundaries of syllabation and ending and in so doing enrich the language and his own meaning by playing against the customary manners of traditional diction.
Over the allowable level of manglin'
The language can take
When limericks are spake
But Chad Allen's not worth such wranglin'
