Former Brewer Turns Business Man

You mean it’s not…Bill Castro Convertibles: “So easy a Brewer can do it!”

Legendary Milwaukee Brewers baseball player Robin Yount is putting his efforts behind a new venture that’s sure to be a hit – Robinade Old School Lemonade.

Spearheaded by Robin Yount, the chilled lemonade is made in Wisconsin from 100% natural ingredients including real lemon juice concentrate, lemon pulp and natural lemon oils.

In line with Yount’s tradition of giving back to the community, a percentage of profits will go directly to Wisconsin children’s charities including the MACC Fund (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer).

“Throughout his baseball career, Robin has been a strong supporter of our organization,” stated Jon McGlocklin, MACC Fund President. “We are deeply honored, inspired and appreciative of his generous spirit, which continues today and will benefit so many children and their families long into the future.”

“I’m thrilled that old and new fans can share in a refreshing experience this summer with Robinade,” stated Yount. “It’s as all-American as baseball and will benefit kids all over Wisconsin.”

Yes, many's the time I've sauntered into my back yard before breakfast to pluck some fresh lemon juice concentrate right off the tree.

I will continue to rail against this kind of BS corporate speak until it dies. Stop it stop it stop it! Just let Robin sound human!

When I read the headline, it didn't make sense to me because I figured a brewer was a businessman -- like the Coors or Busch families.

I make Robinade a few times every day. But I call it Memorade.

Sorry Robin, but I've sworn off anything described as "Old School."

This didn't work nearly as well when Jimmy Jones tried it.

Is it made of real robins?

Is it made of real robins?

Even if it is, you should delete the words 'real robins', and replace them with the legend 'crunchy raw unboned real dead robins', if you want to avoid prosecution.

Old-fashioned lemonade? Doesn't sound like something that's filling a big hole in the market.

I'd rather see bananaade, and commercials where Yount engages in hijinks with Mr. Bananagrabber.
