Fuentes on bereavement list; Register called up : All Things Rockies

Don’t forget to update your roster.

The Rockies will be a bit short-handed. Closer Brian Fuentes left the team to tend to a non-baseball related issue and was placed on the bereavement list. A player must stay on the list for a minimum of three days and a maximum of seven.

So there will now be a Register in the Baseball Register. Reminds me of when my friend went to Dictionary.com, typed in "Dictionary" and said "I'm going to make this thing EXPLODE." Results were anticlimactic.

What will Sean Foreman do when Jorge Reference gets called up?

Register has had a nice season at Colorado Springs. It's too bad the Mets didn't have room to keep him.

Register's already been up once, facing one batter, and striking him out. He'll probably ruin his 'perfect' record now.
