Greg Zaun: Bring Your Z-Game

There were many Zorros, but the one best known was played by Greg Zaun, born Gregory Owen Zaun--5 feet 10 inches, handsome, athletic. He had more than a few would-be Canadian-moms taking their kids to the ballpark!

Zaunbie Nation

I recntly made my annual pilgimage to Oregon to do battle with the great Chinook Salmon of Tilamok Bay, OR. It truly is majestic. For me, there’s nothing like battling a Chinook with the Oregon landscape as a backdrop. Some day, I will make move up there and never be heard from again. Hunting and fishing are how plan on spending my retirement. No place better than Oregon or Washington to do both.

I think that website finally won me over
I was tormented over whether Aaron Hill, Frank Catalanatto or Gregg Zaun would be my favourite active player in the wake of Biggio's retirement...this may have sealed the deal.

Although it is a tad worrisome
My favourite player resume reads

Ryne Sandberg
Greg Maddux
Craig Biggio
Gregg Zaun

Who's next? Kevin Gregg?
My middle name is Vaughan...I'm so I'm surprised that Greg missed the list.

the quality of that web site seems so out of place with the quality of the player represented...

First there were all the 'noose' comments, and now this. I am getting sick and tired of these racial remarks popping up in the world of sports.

Can't we all just get along?

Better hurry up and retire, Greg; it won't be long before they're an endangered species, like pretty much every other Chinook run in the lower 48 (The King is dead! Long live the King's Table!)

There is no Tilamok Bay on the Oregon Coast.

Along with the disturbing Chinook reference, how am I to read this except as white supremacism? See you at the cross-burning, Adolf.

Yeah, he misspelled Tillamook. I'm very disappointed in this Geoff Zahn person.
