McCoy: I’m not a magician, Cincinnati; just an old country quack.
Reds right-hander Aaron Harang has been diagnosed with a strained right forearm, the club announced on Thursday.
An MRI test came back normal and ruled out a serious arm injury.
Harang was sent back to Cincinnati on Wednesday afternoon to be examined by team medical director Tim Kremchek. Harang complained of a stiff forearm one day after giving up seven walks over 4 1/3 innings in Tuesday’s 7-3 loss to the Cubs.
