This column has a repulsive quality. I know - 'winning is the only thing'. I find it hard to have any sympathy for justifying a team move on the basis that the player in question does 'too many good works'.
Someone help me, please. Is this business about a face an expression I have never heard before or is this just some nonsensical blathering?
Haters gonna hate.
I noticed Mr. Granderson wears number 28 - do you suppose Mr. Giradi will be taking that number next season, leaving number 27 for Granderson?
I don't know if I'd label it as good works, but I've long wondered if athletes who develop multiple outside interests (which is admirable by itself) can have difficulty maintaining their skills as well as guys whose sole pursuit is their sport. I kind of hope that isn't the case with Granderson, because like most, I really like him. Then again, he's now a Yankee, so by rule I also kind of hope he starts to suck.
