I mean, I know that various athletes have been convicted and still been allowed across the border, but that's largely been for DUI/DWI, drugs, or assorted traffic violations - grand larceny and burglary are viewed with a slightly different level of seriousness.

I see. I don't remember hearing about that one.

It just stuns me that people could be so stupid to think that no one would notice that:
a) They seem to have acquired a Playstation 3 and flat-screen TV at the same time that one of each just vanished from down the hall, or
b) They suddenly have exactly the same number of laptops that vanished from the school just down the street.

I suppose I should be happy that so many criminals are that stupid....
