Interview with Colby Rasmus and Cardinals to carry 12 pitchers?

“I just try to take a deep breath, relax and take everything in stride.”

And the Cardinals will consider taking 12 pitchers north with them when they break camp. I suppose that may depend on how the injured and questionable starters pan out through the rest of spring training.

Isn't 12 pitchers pretty standard these days? I know I read something about the Pirates last week and Huntingdon was talking as though it was presumed that they'd carry 12 pitchers. It's becoming pretty common practice; at some points in any season, several teams carry 13 pitchers.

Yes, it is.

St. Louis broke camp last year with 12 pitchers.

Won't that hurt his super prospect back?

He'll herniate more discs than the typical human body contains if Sidney Ponson makes the team.

Interesting interview, but how come she didn't tell us anything about Colby's ass?
