He's using his cutter/slider (FanGraphs has them as cutters; Josh Kalk's card has them as sliders) 10% more than his career average, maybe that's why.

And there's very little difference in movement between his fastballs and cutters/sliders if I'm interpreting Kalk's graph correctly.
