DR: A-Rod. He is incredibly kind and friendly, and takes an active interest in his teammates. He’s been awesome to me.
But everyone hates AROD?
They told me that:
A) They had heard A-Rod was not good in the clubhouse, and that made them hesitate to offer him a large contract
B) They were never going to offer anything near what the Yankees did before A-Rod opted out
C) Boras misread the market, misled Rodriguez, and the split between Rodriguez and Boras is very real.
