Jim Rice, Rickey Henderson appear on ‘Letterman’ (Video)

Ohh...if only Uncle Floyd would have dumped the Wimp Sanderson schtickla.

What does being voted into the Baseball Hall of Fame mean? Well, in addition to the relief, the induction ceremony and the interviews, it means getting to take a victory lap by making wacky appearances on shows like “The Late Show with David Letterman,” as Cooperstown-bound Jim Rice and Rickey Henderson did late last night.

I didn't see it but I'm guessing Rickey was much more entertaining than Rice.

Surprisingly, no, but that's because it seems Rice is much more comfortable reading off cue cards.

They announced "Hall of Famer Jim Rice" and Paul Shaffer laughed reflexively.

Rickey's appearance on MLB Network was much more entertaining. Harold and Rojas brought up the $1 million dollar uncashed check and the Olerud fable as well. Rickey was very good.
