Kurt Russell on A-Rod: “He’s a Terrific Kid”

It’s about time Russell made a sequel to Fools’ Parade!

Sounds like Kurt Russell has definitely put the stamp of approval on Kate Hudson’s relationship with Alex Rodriguez! “Of course, with Alex, since this summer and our getting to know him, I’m so happy for him,” Kurt gushed to OK! after the Yankees won the World Series Wednesday night in NYC. “He’s a terrific kid.”

“He’s worked incredibly hard for a long, long time and now, all questions have been put to rest for everything and hopefully he will live a wonderful life and show us things in baseball that perhaps we’ve never seen,” Kurt adds.

...“I think support is always a good thing from family, but Alex does what he does because hes good at it and because he’s worked at it,” explains Kurt. “I think that i’ts a good thing that he has a connection with some people that appreciate it with him, but this is about the Yankees,” he adds about the big win. ” This is what they do. It’s a great thing.”

Somehow, I expected an "Escape from NY" reference here.

Or Tombstone, or Russell's politics, since it is our man Repoz.

Russell is a personal favorite of mine among actors.

Russell wouldn't rip A-Rod. He's a good Soldier.

There's two sides to every centaur - he's only talking about the good half.

But Alex needs to watch out for the Backdraft.

Not by blood. He's her stepfather but I believe he raised her with Goldie from very early on.

Mesmerizing.

And Jesus, what is that hanging out of the corner of his mouth, Pasta Primavera?

Russell is an underrated actor. He was great in "Breakdown." (is that the name of the movie where his wife gets kidnapped by truckers?)

I still think Kurt Russell's finest movie was Used Cars, one of the funniest films of all time.

My wife had a dream last night that Kurt Russell was calling me for advice. I hope I told him to make sure the kid gets a favorable pre-nup.

Kurt Russell will always be Dexter Riley first, and everyone else second. Even Snake Plissken.

Goldie Hawn is going to regret she didn't introduce Kate Hudson to Ryan Zimmerman.

Dexter was my introduction to Russell during the '70s, but I think his portrayal of Elvis looms as large as any of his other roles.

I guess Matt Franco wasn't good enough for Kate.
