Manny in the wall ...again

The Bill James influence continues…as Stokely Van Camp originally produced and distributed Gatorade.

Manny Ramirez had another Monster moment Sunday afternoon, climbing into the wall to sip on a sports drink during a pitching change in the seventh inning. When he was done, Ramirez tipped his cap to the Fenway faithful (left).

This wasn’t the first trip Ramirez made inside the Monster this week. On Wednesday, Ramirez climbed into the wall to make a cell phone call, leading many Sox fans to question whom he was calling.

Of course, Red Sox fans aren’t just discovering Manny’s quirky nature now. He’s been providing Manny-being-Manny moments for years.

If the events of the last week are any indication, it seems like Manny has developed a new favorite habit. What will Manny do in the wall next?

Uhh…Hit for the Cyclamate?

But it was only fantasy.
The wall was too high, as you can see.
No matter how he tried, he could not break free.
And the worms ate into his brain.

Does he regularly carry a cell phone in the outfield? I wonder if Bonds pushed an elderly employee and did idiotic crap like this it would be so "cute."

Apparently, the Braves offered Teixeira to the Sox for Youkilis and Hansen and the Sox said no but for the Braves to jeep them in mind.

Manny wasn't carrying a cell phone, Fred. He beat the s### out of a worker in the wall and used that dude's cell phone. In response, the Red Sox front office has now ordered all low-level employees to give their cell phones to Manny. And to punish Manny for beating up another employee, the Red Sox have decided to limit Manny's usage of free band-aids on his bloodied knuckles after a beat-down.

Yeah!!! I'd like to see Manny try to push any of US down.

"What will Manny do in the wall next?"

Trying to avoid the nanny, he suggests "stick a prayer in it".

Nothing tops his unexpected cut-off of Johnny Damon's throw in the Fenway outfield like 4 seasons back.

Did Manny really cut off Damon's throw?

Or was that just as far as Damon could throw it?

a little of both

Was the guy Manny pushed elderly? I guess I just assumed it was one of the 20/30 somethings in the Red Sox offices.
