The discovery was made Wednesday morning in the left field area of Pat Thomas Stadium by a crew with the Leesburg’s Public Works Department.
A team from Patrick Air Force Base removed the device, which was X-rayed and deemed not explosive.
Local 6 News helicopter Sky 6 showed two men wearing camouflage and a robotic device in the outfield of the baseball diamond.
Any guesses as to what it was?
