MinorLeagueBall.com - Zach Greinke Pitch-by-Pitch

John Sickels went to the ballpark the other day, and charted Zach Greinke’s pitches for six innings.

All in all, he reminded me a lot more of the confident young moundsman of 2004 than the rattled thrower of 2005. Word from Wichita and Kansas City sources is that he has made great progress in working through his psychological issues, although of course we’ll have to see if that actually pans out in the long run.

Greinke’s been gone so long it seems like the world outside Kansas City has forgotten him. He’s just 22, so here’s hoping he makes it back.

I'm rooting for him. I start my own new job, delivering pizzas, today as I try to make my way back. I suspect that Greinke has a better chance of pitching in the bigs than I do of ever being an options trader again.

Good luck, Zach.

it's funny. the guy details every pitch he throws but fail to spell his name, zack, correctly. typical amateur minor league reporting.
