Is it just me or did the fangraphs material not really match up with what they were talking about?

The players always go off on tangents when they do the "By the numbers" segments. The problem is they need to get someone else besides players to do those segments, as they always get defensive and want to prove the numbers "wrong". It's always one big strawman fest.

This type of segment is encouraging, but MLB Network is still dominated by jock talk. Might as well carve out a 30 min "By the Numbers" show and have an all-geek panel. Or maybe one ex-player to be the punching bag.
