MLB Network website has gone live

I guess it isn’t news, per se, but I thought people’d be interested to know the MLB network website has gone live. They’ve got the schedule for the first month… and info on some of the programs that’ll be on (Classic Games! Ken Burns Baseball! Hot Stove! Season Look-Backs!).

T-minus 16 days or so!

It just got added to my local Charter Digital lineup. At the exact same time that the Multi-Card died in my TiVo HD, so I didn't get a chance to look at it. :(

It got added to my Comcast digital, not showing on HD yet, but the first thing I saw was the 2005 World Series video, so it got off to a GREAT start as far as I'm concerned....

"Just in case you missed the most recent World Series, MLB Network will give you 18 chances to see it from beginning to end between January 1st and 5th!"

Wait, are you saying that it's already on in some areas?

Anyone know what channel it will be on DirecTV?

It's got lots of potential, but I've just looked at the first half of January, and it's mind-numbingly repetitious. They should also consider putting a > button on their TV schedule page, so that you don't have to keep re-opening the calendar to go from day to day.

Is it just me, or should the MLB network have, like, the minor league game of the week? They need programming, the minors need exposure.

There's no LIVE programming, they're just showing DVDs of old Series, I believe.
