MLB: Proctor to have surgery on right elbow

No need for exploratorre…they know the reason.

Dodgers reliever Scott Proctor, who was left off the National League Championship Series roster after battling arm problems, will undergo right elbow surgery Wednesday.

Proctor will have a partially torn flexor tendon repaired and a bone spur in the back of his elbow shaved down. Dodgers surgeon Dr. Neal ElAttrache considers it a straightforward cleanup procedure, according to club officials, and Proctor is expected to be ready for Spring Training.

“He had told me if he wasn’t on the roster, he was planning on surgery and the sooner the better,” Dodgers manager Joe Torre said. “We know for sure, if we’re in the World Series, both [Takashi] Saito and [Ramon] Troncoso would be ahead of him [if a pitching change to the roster was made].”

Be sure it's not Dr Proctor doing the surgery!

They should find a way to brand "property of Joe Torre" right on the bone. At least come up with a way Joe Torre can sign it in such a way that five million years from now archaeologists find Proctor's bones and see where Torre signed and thus allowing them to say, "Zut Alors! Nous sommes reveinnue a la frayed remains du Scott Proctor! Permettez-nous maintenant de faire la fête avec l'absinthe et les chansons joyeuses de Marcel Marceau!"

The real problem is that Torre was going to have Proctor re-drywall and paint his house in LA, and now those plans are on hold until the week after the surgery.

Do you think Proctor went out and killed a hobo when he heard Torre was going to be the new Dodger manager? I wonder what exactly went through Proctor's head when he heard the news. Probably something along the lines of \"####!!!!!"
