I imagine that they'd be too busy fleeing the zombie hordes to comment.
Yet another shard of the media for me to avoid.
What's wrong? Are you scared that you might learn something about baseball?
They will say, "That's the Commissioner."
That's an interesting comment considering that among all the leagues MLB has the most advanced interactive media approach. For a guy who allegedly doesn't use e-mail Bud Selig has been at the head of a very technology friendly entity.
If it's not "his" idea at minimum he's put the right folks in charge.
Yep, did it beautifully. Even spent to build out MLB's network when servers 'n storage were cheap. Textbook case of an established firm using technology the right way.
OK, I.T.'s even cheaper now, but, didn't MLB Advance Media lease bandwidth to the NCAA and others? And compare that MLB Network launch to the NFL Network. I'm still waiting for FIOS to come to my house (any ####### day now), but I can easily access MLB.
/When NFLN first came out, they had a Thursday night game between the Ravens 'n Cinncy. I was in Manhattan for business, and I wanted to see the game. I had two choices: over-priced drinks at the ESPN Zone in Times Square, or a gay sports bar in Chelsea.
//For those who are curious: it's just like a regular sports bar. You know, bunch of dudes sitting around watching football. But fantasy has a comparatively different focus.
///Yes, yes, I know, there are plenty of places near 50th. Also the Chinatown hotels carry NFLN. Now... I know this.

People don't go to SportingNews.com. People go to MLB.com.
What's wrong? Are you scared that you might learn something about baseball?
I might, if Olby actually knew anything about baseball.
I read parts of TSN pretty much every day. Of course I like sports other than the MLB, so college BB, college FB or NFL articles interest me.
If you could link to it, I would have submitted links more than once.
And you say this based on...?
I got a $100 says that Keith would out-geek 90% of primates when it comes to baseball.
I got the $100 from your mom for services rendered and it thinks the Jays are only 83% as good as an American equivalent baseball team.
That's not fair. Your mom only ever gives me the non-talking $100s.
Also, sadly enough, I'd be happy if the Jays were only 83% as good as the average of the American teams in our division. This hot start fills me with great trepidation about their inevitable fall.
Well, #### better then!
How truly critical is that? Obviously they shouldn't be sweeping stuff under the rug or worse, outright lying, but I haven't seen evidence of that with either mlb.com or MLBN. If you read an MLB published newspaper I think you go in with eyes wide open that this is a house organ.

Oh, hells no. Olbermann brutes himself about as some kind of baseball guru, but his insights are pedestrian at best. The typical Primate knows more about the game than he does...although he's not quite as far left as the average Primate...;)
I don't know whose decision it was to put that fool on the current season of "24", but good grief, what a nightmare. Absolutely no acting ability, screen presence, charisma, or general talent to speak of.
I thought my mother-in-law was the only one who still watched that ridiculous show.
