The Nationals traded second baseman Ronnie Belliard to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday afternoon for minor league pitcher Luis Garcia and a player to be named later. Garcia, at the time of the deal, was pitching for Class A Great Lakes of the Midwest League.

3.49 FIP at Low-A, but is already 22. Looks like a relief prospect.
In August (60 at-bats in 14 starts), Belli was hitting 367/406/600/1006.
Shouldn't that just be Loretta? No reason to keep him around.

Loretta is the right handed "hitter" off of the bench.
Yeah, I think the correct term is right-handed batter.
Isn't the rule that you can't put players who were injured in minors on major league DL (that is, if player who is on 40-men and is set for minors is injured before the final rosters are set in spring, you can put him on 60-day DL, but if he is playing in minors, you can't)?
