NBC.com: C.J. Wilson tweets about ‘borderline offensive’ trade offer

C.J. Wilson, via Twitter, on reports that the Rangers turned down an offer to trade him for Diamondbacks catcher Chris Snyder:

  borderline offended by az’s offer…dude hit 200!

dude he’s not even a starter on his own team. come on.

I’m pretty sure I could hit .200- when I had tommy john I asked the rangers to let me go back to outfield instead…didn’t happen

and and let me clarify that it’s not the guy I’ve got a problem with- but the team dangling him. never mad at players, just gms etc

That's a stupid trade for the Diamondbacks.

Is Miguel Montero for real? AJ Hinch, I know, fell in love with him shortly after taking over as manager, but I can't help but wonder if keeping Snyder around might not be a bad idea.

Twitter and alcohol will make fools of us all.

Yeah, he's just mad at the GMs..... for valuing him the same as that non-starting barely hitting .200 catcher. Not that Snyder did anything wrong, and not to cast an aspersions on him, but man does he suck.

Miguel Montero kicked the Dodgers ass a couple of times in Sept. He might be what Dodgers fans thought Russell Martin was going to be for awhile.

Ranger fans felt that way about CJ's 2008.

Overwork, plus a career-low in BABIP.

Russell Martin - this generation's Jody Davis.

Today during his little press availability thing, Hinch talked glowingly of Montero. Then, when asked if Montero was definitely his guy for 2010 he walked it back and said something about "seeing how it all shakes out in spring training." Whether that was your typical non-committal corporate weasel speak or if he's truly not 100% on Montero is unclear. Though, yeah, his tone was all-Montero, all the time.

CJ Wilson? Football player at ECU?

Everything about C.J. Wilson rubs me the wrong way. This is no exception. What an ass.

Twitter and alcohol will make fools of us all.

Pretty sure this isn't the case...CJ is straightedge (no alcohol, no drugs). That, if anything, is evidence that he can be crazy under sober circumstances too.
