It was on Encore, I think. I'm getting all the Pay movie channels for free right now. I also watched Miss Potter (girlfriend. had to.) and it was beyond awful. Stay away, gentlemen, stay away.
I don't disapprove. Sluts are funny is all, and regardless of sex; I've had plenty of fun at Shawn Kemp's expense (not that either he or Madonna care what I think).

Shooty, how are you getting free movie channels? Sometimes my roommate and I mysteriously find Cinemax or Comedy Central for, like, a month before it suddenly disappears again.
I ahve no idea. I just switched my regular cable box for an HD box and now I can't get C-Span, Logo or the Food channel, but I'm getting all the pay channels except for Encore Action for some reason. All the otehr Encore channels come in fine. Needless to say, I'm not calling to complain until the Pay channels stop coming in, as much as I miss Rosie's Big Gay Sketch Show.
I wouldn't kick Madonna to the curb.

truth is that most guys here (and everywhere for that matter) would not kick her to the curb neither - unless they are the kind of guys who are in a relationship and are monogamous because aren't real too many guys who turn down - um, offers from females and especially females who have great bodies

Thing is, most guys here ain't A-Rod. A-Rod's incredibly rich and famous, as well as handsome, buff and young. It's probably no exaggeration to say he could get most any woman he wanted. So why go for a washed up pop star old enough to be his mom? Yeah, she looks great for her age. But A-Rod could land plenty of 21 year old supermodels who'd look great for THEIR age. :)
i would guess that he doesn't like the anorexic look. or females who expect the man to be the one doing all the adoring in the relation. OR stupid women. i mean there actually are some men who prefer smart women and whatever else you can say about madonna, she is definitely a smart woman.

Har, I probably wouldn't turn Madonna down if I was single, but like I said, I ain't A-Rod. It'd be worth it just to tell my friends about it, but A-Rod is roughly as famous as she is, and far more relevant. In the US anyway.
I don't buy this. She's good at her chosen career, but so's Evander Holyfield and Johnny Damon. Don't necessarily make her smart.
It's not that she screws around, it's that she voluntarily let Jose Canseco put something in her. You can be sure any guy who does that gets like treatment on this board.
I hear you. What is it, exactly, about Madonna that a man who isn't completely indiscriminate would go for? She's not bad looking, but she's certainly not great looking. She's in shape, but that's true of a lot of women. The chance that she's capable of interesting conversation is pretty small, so other than churning out endless, uninventive, tame pop, what would make her stand out at an Albany Speed Dating get together?

Hey, maybe it DOES turn A-Rod on. Didn't he consult Warren Buffet before signing his last contract? Has he not made over $170 million dollars in his career so far, not counting endorsements? A-Rod is a smart enough guy to know that he's about rich enough to be a corporation unto himself. I actually think he and Madonna would have a lot to talk about in this regard.
Also, maybe there's a Katie Holmes factor in play here. She talks about having Tom Cruise posters on her wall as a kid and I'm sure a lot of the initial excitement on her end was the fact that she was basically living out a childhood fantasy. Maybe A-Rod's literally living out a fantasy he's had since he saw the video for "Material Girl" as a lad.
I'm agreeing with a lot of what baseball chick says. While it's probably true that A-Rod could have just as easily tapped the asses of Jessicas Alba and Biel like his shortstop, he's got a million reasons of his own to be attracted to Madonna. Maybe it's because I have a thing for confident sexy older women but I personally admire A-Rod's present choice in extracurricular affairs.
