I didn't think it was a real happy story the first time I saw it (ending was a downer, in particular), so I didn't think it was remake material, frankly.
#2 -- don't worry, you'll have your chance to screw the Dodgers later. The Dodgers close their season against the Giants in San Francisco.
scareduck - unless the Dbacks start playing better, it won't matter. They are getting shell-shocked. Unless their bullpen starts actually protecting leads, and their front of the rotation starts performing - they are in serious trouble. Their offense just doesn't score enough to consistently make up for their #2 starter going only 4 innings, like today.
On the other hand...Shawn Estes. I didn't even know that guy was back in the majors.
LA third basemen: 33 double plays, 15 errors.
AZ third basemen: 23 double plays, 29 errors.
I think, the way Manny has played and the direction is hitting is taking, he isn't that good anymore.
