N.Y. Post: METS GUY’S SPA A ‘SMUT’ HUT (RR)

While most Met fans are araqueing that Carlos is washed up...something else happened in Metland.

A former Mets massage therapist who was busted for allegedly sexually assaulting a customer also got some major-league thrills by holding swingers’ parties and X-rated video shoots in his East Side spa, a sensational lawsuit claims.

...Araque, 44, who’d worked spo radically for the Mets for two years and treated the likes of Jose Reyes and Mike Piazza, was also charged with a felony - for giving massages without a license.

Thanks to the velvety touch of Can’t Stop the Bleeding.

Have I just been living in California for too long, but does the whole notion of "swinger parties" not seem as salacious as it did even just a decade ago? I have never participated, but its something that co-workers and other acquaintances talk openly about doing.

I have a hard time accepting that it is a felony to charge money for a massage without a license.

In context, the photo accompanying the article is pretty funny.

"Of course, it does look like most of the allegations are crap."

I'm sure that when he's acquitted, he'll toast his success with a nice, frothy cup of the liquid of feces.

aleskel - I think you are totally right. Though if you're massaging people without their consent, you should be punished.
