I hate the Mets of course, and I consider them to be rivals(due to the 80's) but I also respect their fans (even the ones that wanted to dump Delgado and claim he was done in June) and think "at least they aren't the Yankees" (and I like the Yankees more than the Red Sox, 2 years ago that wasn't the case)
As far as embarrassments for a Mets fan go, this, for me, ranks above Vince Coleman.
