It's true that the A's line up looks awful. It's just painful to watch this team try to hit sometimes. A pretty good blog entry, actually. Nice to see all these A's threads. It's positively Mets-tastic!

Given how many rookies and injuries the team has, I don't think Marcel is too useful.

Yeah after thinking about it some more Marcel's is applicable to the following on the A's active 25 man roster:

Mark Ellis
Alan Embree
Huston Street

Bah.

No bah, man. This season is crazy. Just let it flow over you like a waterfall of beer. Nothing about the A's makes any damn sense this year. It's great!

It's awful. I'm so happy to be off that ride.

Though it will always gall me that the 1990 White Sox won a division by default.
