Ozzie Guillen has a new love: The Rays

“I feel proud to be the first manager to start against that team in the playoffs,” Guillen said after winning the one-game playoff with the Twins a week ago. “They know how I feel about them. And you guys that have been with me all year know how I feel about that organization.”

“They played better than us, there’s no doubt,” said Guillen, who congratulated the Rays in his opening remarks during the postgame press conference. “They pitched better, they executed better, they got big hits, and I tip my hat to them because they outplayed us.”

Does this mean Ozzie’s man-crush on the Twins is over?
