Now this is sad. No posts in 2.5 hours, because we're too busy talking about steroids and AIDS.

Aw man. The link just takes me back to this thread. I was hoping for a Madeline Albright picture.

Are workouts public? I am going to be in Phoenix next week. I was very sad to see that exhibition games won't start until March. But if I could watch some workouts, maybe at the new Cleveland Indians complex in Goodyear, I would be a happy boy.

Do all pitchers report today? I seem to recall in the past different teams starting on different dates.

Teams have different reporting dates.

Right now, I'll settle for anyone doing the standard run-over-and-cover-the-bag drill.

There's nothing like that first shot of guys with numbers in the seventies in solid colored jerseys jogging around.

Let's see, youngest son graduates from college in 2011. Last payment will be Dec. 2010. By 2012 I should have enough saved up. 2012 Spring Training, here I come. My wife will come to a game or two but would mostly want to go the beach. I'll probably have to sacrifice a day or two to keep her company. Let's see -- 6 full days -- 4 games, 2 beach days for me, 2 games, 4 beach days for her. I can deal with that.

A few years ago, I went to see the Red Sox work out (it was late February and the whole team was there). I hung out all day - it was one of the best and most memorable experiences of my baseball related life. If you can do it, I highly recommend it.

Thanks Dizzy. I am sure the wife and daughter won't mind me not shopping with them.

In preparation, I'm watching the highlights of the 1953 World Series on the MLB Network.
