Does anyone know where I can find pinch runner data for teams for 2007? I heard it was on retrosheet but can't find it there.

Has anyone posted a link to SI Vault? All the magazine's articles have been posted online.

Here are a few that I remember reading in the 1980's:
The predicted demise of wooden bats

A study of pitcher longevity based on workload before the age 25.
The Roger Clemens projection is interesting.

The Shortage of good young catchers (1989)

Too much work today to look at the Vault. I'd probably get lost in there for a couple of hours.

It sounds like the Twins have mostly finalized there opening day roster:

Liriano is likely heading to the minors, making the rotation Hernandez, Bonser, Slower, Baker and Blackburn, with Brian Bass being the 7th reliever. Carlos Gomez will be the CF and Matt Tolbert gets the only other open job as the second utility guy.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Justice Department has approved a merger of Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. with its rival, XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc.
Baba Booey, Baba Booey, Baba Booey!

For those of us who had to choose between MLB and Howard Stern, our long national nightmare is over. (I chose Sirius - there are at least three Indians radio affiliates within range of my house, and that's the team I listen to 90+ percent of the time.)
