Unlike the current Giants, about which pretty much nothing is great.
Sweeping the D-Backs was pretty great in my book. Lincecum too.
He sits even more safely atop the career list for walks allowed, with 2,795, a full 50% more than the #2 guy.
This is true. He's throwing more split fingers than ever before. But his velocity was better with the Yankees then it is now. At least in 2005. Per his Fan Graphs Page his avg FB velocity is down 1.6 MPH since 2005. He pitched almost all of 2006 with a herniated disc. I don't know how you even pitch with that, let alone "adapt"
His slider has looked great the last couple of games.
Not with the Padres playing like this..
FWIW, he has a complete no-trade clause. He probably wouldn't waive it without getting a contract extension (he is signed through 2009) in return.
