The Chicago White Sox game against the Detroit Tigers originally scheduled for September 13 will be played on Monday, September 29 if playoff implications still exist. The matchup, which was postponed due to rain, would take place at 1:05 p.m. in Chicago.

With the division title at stake, the White Sox host the Cleveland Indians this weekend, while the Minnesota Twins welcome the Kansas City Royals to town for a three-game series. If Chicago sits one-half game in front or behind Minnesota after this weekend, they will host Detroit on Monday.
If the result of that matchup puts the White Sox and Twins in a tie atop the division, they will meet on Tuesday in Chicago to decide the AL Central champion.
