THE OFFICIAL UNOFFICIAL GAME 7 DISCUSSION: FOR LACK OF A CHATTER!

For lack of a Game Chatter, THIS is going to be the official chatter for the night, going in the tradition of the great All Star Chatter of ‘08 and the Day 2 (or was it three?) Playoff thread!

Stuff I want to see tonight: WHO CARES?! It’s game seven! Everything and anything could happen!

Sure hope Repoz or whoever puts this up in time!

In fact, the only 2 players in MLB history named "Evan" both made their debuts this year.

This was the greatest discussion thread ever. I especially want to thank Shane, Darren, aleskel and Bourbon for their contributions.

I think I'm now a Tampa fan, baseball's a funny game. What a game, I kept waiting for the Rays to blow it and they didn't. Matt Garza is the f**king man, here's hoping the bullpen can settle down the rest of the way. Is David Price the defacto closer for the World Series?

I'll say Tampa in 6, I think there starting pitching will give them the edge. But thank God I don't have to cheer for the Phillies againgst the Red Sox.

Go Tampa!!!

One of two things:

9 more wins from the bullpen, 9 more wins from the fielding, 9 more from the lineup gets the Rays one of 8 playoff spots.
Or 9 guys playing hard for 9 innings gets the same.

And don't underestimate the value of a broadside tackle on David Price in the victory scrum.

I understand players getting excited and jumping on top of one another, but that was one stupid hit he laid on a body with a pretty talented left arm attached to it.

Since he's not on the active roster, probably taking various banned substances that make him hyperaggressive.
