You should have read the article.
Hal was merely reminding Krivsky what his (Krivsky's) ambitions were; it wasn't because he wasn't feeding Hal inside info as much as Wayne himself had turned into the exact opposite of what he'd said he'd be.
This describes the Reds' media relations guy (Rob Butcher) perfectly.
