I quickly looked at the projection (and since all the columns don't line up) was like "11 HRs in 13 IP. Wow! And only a 4.97 ERA!"

Also, Omar got his man... like three years or so after he started trying to trade for him.

According to Jon Heyman:
• The Mets seem focused on relievers at the moment and have talked about Kelly Downs of Toronto.

I'd have to think it wouldn't take much to get Kelly Downs at this point.

As long as they don't expect to get anything out of Cordero this year, and keep some sort of option on him for next year, this is a nice little move.

Kelly Downs of Toronto.

I wasn't aware of this nickname. Though with the hair I certainly understand it.

Kelly Downs

Hence the joke in #4.

Kelly Downs of Toronto.

This is funny, because when I saw "Cordero" in the headline, I thought "Wil."

Hey, it's the Mets--it's not like Wil Cordero would've been any more implausible a couple years ago than Fernando Tatis...

This sounds about right for that FO. House on fire, time to mow the lawn.
