Milwaukee Brewers

Signed IF Keith Ginter to a 3-year, $1.925 million contract.

Good deal on a talent basis as Ginter is a solid B+ second baseman despite practically no media attention.  The problem for the Brewers is with Spivey and Weeks, Ginter’s either going to have to respond well to being a supertility player a la Tony Phillips or sit around and wait for a trade to somewhere he can play.

Thank you for the birthday wishes. My wife gave me a very nice shirt and wallet, both monogrammed. I thought it was overkill until she told me it's for when I become senile and the nurses need to know what's mine.

Interestingly, early on in our relationship Jill asked me if the proliferation of monogramming in my apartment was for the purpose of determining where I had woken up. Its funny now. Less so then.

That was weird. Did you intentionally post to a random old thread, or is there some sort of database error?

At least it was a thread about the Brewers; he was quoting HW from the Brewers season preview.

Went to the Brewers/Marlins game last Friday, and I can't help but think that Yost is going to torpedo this team. He (with a huge assist from "More Steroids Please" Mota) lost that game for the Brewers. It was aggrivating to watch, and the Brewers aren't even my main rooting interest.

Spivey's back in Wisconsin, but he's in Madison now.

If you thought Friday's game was aggravating, you should have seen yesterday's. Dios mio! Four-and-a-quarter hours of sheer exasperation.
