Reds - Signed Mackowiak

Cincinnati Reds - Signed OF Rob Mackowiak to a minor-league contract.

Mackowiak was thrown to the curb about 3 weeks ago after playing poorly in a limited role with the Nats. Most likely, he's with the Reds to provide depth for the Louisville Bats as they were thinly manned in the outfield. He's not a great candidate to see much time in Cincinnati with the Reds already carrying 4 LHB outfielders and Mackowiak's past experience in centerfield mainly being a tryout for Circus of the Stars.

Do you know why this was a perfect candidate for the podcast? Well, when Mackowiak was on the Pirates, for some period of time he used Missy Elliot's "One Minute Man" as his at-bat music, which is up there as one of the most inexplicable and emasculating choices of at-bat music.

Anyway, that should be the intro music for this and any other TransOr podcasts.
