I'm taking off my pants and doing the no-pants dance.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of park factors are you using for the Twins stadium next year?

Oddly enough, I was just contemplating starting to think about considering beginning some type of Neutron Dance.

Straight ones.

For a moment there, I was about to ask if Hardy's defense will hold up on turf.

Straight ones.

Pants or Park Factors?

J.J. Hardy is going to be fabulous?

I just don't think this is as big a win for the Twins as everyone is saying. Hardy seems pretty fungible, and I see Gomez having a better chance of improving.

That's FUNgible to you, Lassie.

Why would you see Gomez as having a better chance of improving? Hardy has, in fact, played baseball well at one point in his life. Carlos Gomez has not.

If Gomez improves, he'll be fungible, too!

If UZR is to be believed, Gomez can put up an 80 OPS+ and still be a 2-2.5 win player.

That said, he's no lock to reach an 80 OPS+...

The problem for the Twins though is that they've likely improved SS but their outfield will probably be worse, out of their four-man (ignoring Kubel as a factor) outfield mix they only traded the third best player, not the worst.

Well, UZR isn't to be believed, so I'm not too worried about that.

Even though they won their division last year, by acquiring Hardy, it's evident that the Twins aren't just resting on their laurels.

The Twins should trade Young, too. The Mets need a left fielder and starting pitching, for instance.
