By the way, I think Eric Chavez will out-hit that projection and even contend for the AL MVP: maybe .300/.400/.570, 40 HR, etc. Maybe not, but it seems to me he is ready to breakthrough into his peak years...if healthy of course.

The projection for Blanton also looks pretty generous -- I mean, it has him equal to Harden, which I think would be pretty surprising.
If the A's projections are like those and they feel they are accurate, then it is no wonder they are trying to trade Hudson for Giles + whatever.
