I bought a $38 one.
And signed up for the later bus - one is leaving at noon, and one at 4pm.

I'd like to go, but none of the options leaps out at me as preferable. I'll go along with the majority.

I should skip the game. Everyone hates Red Sox fans going to Camden Yards.

Me too. Come on, majority, speak up.

I've just contacted Kevin. We'll probably have the entire upper deck bloc surrounding us full of empty seats. (smile) As soon as I hear from him I'll buy two tickets up there.

Forgot to mention that the $17 seats are in section 334.

I'd like to finally meet you guys, despite the preponderance of Sox fans. :) 334 was my old season ticket section, but I'm game for sitting anywhere.
   8. Designated Sitter (GGC) Posted: April 22, 2009 at 09:50 PM (#3148657)
I'm up for section 334. The one time I went to Camden Yards I pretty much stood over the bullpen anyways.

I'm pretty sure I know where that is, since I used to have Sunday plan tickets in 326, but leave it to the Orioles to be the only team in baseball not to have a pictorial version of their seating chart on their website. I can only imagine the thinking that went behind that decision.

Cheap seats. Later bus.

That was that insanely cold game in April a few years ago, right? When it was drizzling/snowing the whole time and went 12 innings?

Unfortunately, I will not be in DC this summer as that is the same weekend a lot of my family is taking a cruise to Alaska, and I've never been there.

Right. You guys were doing a meetup and I happened to be going down there with friends, so I split up with them and hung out with you guys for a few innings. One of my friends was having vertigo in the upperdeck, so we wound up hanging out behind the bullpens.

I'm in, have a $38 ticket, and can drive up to 4 people to the game (if you don't mind going 3 across in the back, it's a decent sized back seat.
   14. Best Regards, Larry Mahnken (Dewey is a slacker) Posted: April 27, 2009 at 07:33 PM (#3154732)
I too can take a couple of people to the game (and to the game Sunday if anyone wants to go, as I'm working that one). I have free parking right next to the home plate gate.

Also, if anyone wants to leave the convention to visit Gettysburg, I'm willing to take some people up and give a tour like I did for Werr a couple of years ago.

My wife and I have $38 tickets. We'll be driving and can take 2-3 people.

This sounds tempting, but I think the schedules are usually fairly tight. I like the idea.

Putting this back on Hot Topics. It looks like the majority is going with $38?

I dunno about the majority, but I've bought the cheap tik. Will spend most of the extra $$ on beer, and no doubt waste the rest.

I'm going to get the upper deck seat, that's my favorite place to sit.

Anyone want to ride with me to the Friday game (or to Sunday's game, which I'm working)?
   21. Mister High Standards Posted: May 18, 2009 at 07:45 PM (#3183279)
GGC, are we rooming together? Whats the deal.

Bob, can I shot gun a seat in the Loblawmobile?
   22. fra paolo Posted: May 18, 2009 at 09:45 PM (#3183423)
I ended up buying a cheap seat.
   23. Answer Guy Posted: May 18, 2009 at 09:58 PM (#3183434)
I should really go to this considering I live in Baltimore.
   24. Joe Bivens, Schmoo from Massachoosetts Posted: May 18, 2009 at 10:08 PM (#3183450)
And you're a Red Sox fan.

A little off topic, but if anyone's interested, myself, Giacalone, and Emeigh all had research presentations accepted by this year's SABR convention.

Hey, me too! All right.

I actually submitted two, and had them both approved. So now I have to decide which one to present.
   27. Bob Loblaw Posted: May 19, 2009 at 06:40 AM (#3184397)
Matt, yeah, you can ride with us.
   28. Jolly Old St. Neck Wound, Moral Idiot Posted: July 30, 2009 at 06:47 PM (#3274318)
If Mike's anywhere out there, where can I pick up the ticket he reserved for me for tomorrow's game? I haven't paid for it yet.
