Yankee Transactions:  DL’ed Everyone, Called up Everyone

Since all of the Clipper outfielders in the Boogie Down, what is Columbus doing?

Kevin Thompson has a sore hammy, or he would have gotten the call over Terrence Long (and Reese too).

I would pay good money to go see Rob "Deer" Stratton try to hit Major League pitching.

By the way, we're ###### for this Sox series. I'm praying for 1 win.

Stratton's line so far

Louisville - 26 for 107 (.243), 6 doubles, 6 homers, 8 walks/35 strikeouts. 243/296/467
Columbus - 8 for 34 (.235), 2 doubles, 2 homers, 3 walks/14 strikeouts, 235/289/471

Stratton hasn't has a full year since 2003, when he hit 32 homers and struck out 175 times in New Mexico.

Year: Strikeouts/Games
1996: 22/17
1997: 94/63
1998: 70/46
1999: 112/95
2000: 180/108
2001: 203/135
2002: 126/96
2003: 175/110
2004: 89/67
2005: 5/8
2006: 49/37

The one thing better than Stratton in the majors is Stratton in Japan.

Yansk acquire Nick Green from Tampa for cash. He joins the Columbus Shuttlecocks.
