The over/under game—Berroa’s date of benching + 2 notes!

Looking around the Royals blogosphere, you get the idea that these Royals fans have seen more of Angel Berroa than they’d care to admit. And following Bob Dutton’s piece a week ago, it’s pretty easy to see the writing on the wall.

Angel Berroa’s time as a Kansas City Royals starter is nearly over.

Alex S. Gonzalez is breathing down his neck. In fact, Gonzalez is hitting better than any other Royal so far in Spring Training this year. And this doesn’t speak to Esteban German or Andres Blanco, either.

So, it’s the over/under game. When does Angel Berroa get permanently benched? Over/under—May 15.
