Two updates

(1) I think I hear a Royals Roundtable in the offing.
(2) Joe Posnanski has a blog, which makes me glad that I pay attention to Repoz. Even if it’s only temporary for his forthcoming book, this existance of this blog makes me very happy.

"As you may or may not know, Joe's new book -- the Soul of Baseball: A Road Trip Through Buck O'Neil's America -- will be in bookstores on February 27. And on Thursday, March 1st, Rainy Day Books will host our first big public book event at Community Christian Church (4601 Main ... just across the street from the Plaza). The event will begin at 7 p.m., and it should be a fun night with music (Kansas City pop star Julia Othmer will perform), giveaways and various other surprises (we're not giving anything away here -- but Joe might play the piano).

Admission is the price of the book. Tickets (and books) are available at Rainy Day Books, which is at 2706 W. 53rd in Fairway. You don't have to go to the store, though, you can get your tickets via phone at 913.384.3126 ."

from an email Joe Poz sent.

Repoz, I'm going to chart how many extra hits Google gets because of you. I think they owe you some of their advertising dollars.

I'm tentatively in Mike! Poz has a great blog - I hope he doesn't abandon it once the book tour is over.
